Meet The VIP Search & Soltuions Group Executive Team
Mike Haynes is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of VIP Search & Solutions Group. Mike’s experience includes over fifteen years of executive recruiting in accounting and finance. Prior to founding VIP, Mike joined a local boutique firm in Dallas as a partner in 2000. While there, he managed the direct hire division and became one of the firm’s top producers. In late 2006, Mike was an integral participant in a successful transaction involving selling the firm to a private equity backed company.
Mike’s recruiting career started with a large national search firm where he was promoted to Senior Executive Recruiter responsible for training and mentoring new recruiters. He was also honored as a participant in the company’s high intensity training program and was recognized for his outstanding mentor program. He received the Superstars award for being one of that firm’s top recruiters nationwide. Mike began his career as a Senior Auditor for Ernst & Young, and he amassed over six years of accounting and financial management experience with Quest Diagnostics (formerly Corning Clinical Labs). Mike holds a Bachelor of Science of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Arkansas. His clients include Amerisource Bergen Specialty Group, Behringer Harvard, Kosmos Energy and CROSSMARK. Mike likes to Work Smarter™ with both clients and candidates to deliver measurable results, sooner, rather than later.
Eric Foerster is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of VIP Search & Solutions Group. Eric has over fifteen years of recruiting experience in the accounting and financial arena. He began his career as a Tax Auditor with Ryan & Company, P.C. He was then hired by a large national search firm where he spent seven years as a top producer and Division Manager. Eric has a long list of accomplishments and honors as a result of his tenacity and commitment to his clients.
Among his list of career highlights, Eric was invited to the annual Superstars event, 5 out of 6 years he was eligible to participate. He was also recognized as a member of the prestigious Platinum Club, set aside for the top 10 performers, out of 400 recruiters nationwide. In 2002, he was one of the firm’s top two billers. Eric was personally asked by the President/COO of the company to partake in periodic Roundtable Discussions concerning company policies, training issues, morale and incentives. Eric was also honored as a participant in the company’s high intensity training program and was recognized for his outstanding mentor program where 7 new employees received the benefit of his training and expertise. He was promoted to Division Manager of their executive search group.
Eric was later hired as a Partner of a local search firm that he helped build and sell to private equity. He is intimately involved with our clients who range from Fortune 500 to small, local businesses. Eric received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Texas State University and believes VIP’s slogan of “Work Smarter ™” is not just a very short marketing sentence, but a genuinely better way of doing business.
Jess Padek is a Co-Founder and Partner at VIP Search & Solutions Group. Jess’s experience includes over 10 years of executive recruiting within the accounting and finance arena. Jess’s recruiting career started in Chicago in 1998 with a small, national search firm before relocating to the DFW area in 2000 where he continued to learn and hone his skills as he joined one of the country’s largest search firms. For the last six years Jess has worked with our small boutique firm and has consistently been our team’s top producer.
Jess understands his client’s needs, their personalities and organizational cultures to appropriately find exactly the right resource to meet their needs. Jess is a keen advocate of the very simple premise of Work Smarter ™. His relationship-based approach, friendly demeanor and proven track record keep clients coming back to VIP for intelligent recruitment solutions. Jess has been an instrumental part of VIP Search & Solutions Group since our founding and plays a key role in the firm’s business development and recruiting process. Despite his youthfulness, Jess received his BS from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 1997.
